Resolume Avenue 3.3.2 Released, Flash More Stable

We are really happy with the stability of Avenue ... except when playing Flash files. But 3.3.2 fixes this. We have a love hate relationship with Flash and it remains an untamable beast but at least it's not crashing Avenue anymore.

A few bugs concerning masks are fixed. Thanks to Helder Freitas you can now enjoy the Resolume interface in Portuguese and a few other bits and bops are fixed too.

:) Super!

Comment from francoe:

Some time ago I've discarted all my flash footage.
Well, is time to play again! :D

Comment from Tino:

Sweetness! Hopefully Flash will now work the way it was meant to. It used to just show the first frame and nothing and jam there. I'll let you know if this is fixed this new version :D

:D thanks

Comment from Tino:

After some poking and trying I still can't get Flash to work for me. Not video's, text or anything. I have tried this in the 3.3.1 and 3.3.2 version with the latest Flash version. Would you like me to record the process so it might help you pinpoint the problem?

Comment from Joris:

Hey Tino

We've indeed had some reports of Flash still being problematic for some people. Screencaps are always welcome, but your logfile would be the most helpful. You can send it to us via the Feedback tab of the preference.

Comment from Basic:

Gentlemen! Thank you! just got it installed and going to hit up some flash stuff! first for everything! :)

Comment from Tino:

Hey Joris,

I think if I showed you my log you would probably say 'you should install the correct version of Flash' so I recorded how things look over at my side. Turn the sound down if you want to as it was recorded while screen capturing and not really interesting.

1: Installed Flash Player 10.2
2: Started a .swf file to prove it works
3: Booted up Resolume Avenue 3.3.2
4: Flash files do not work correctly
5: A quick view of what the log says

I have tried deinstalling Flash Player, rebooting and reinstalling but to no effect. Hopefully the video will be more effective than a log. If not I can still send you guys a complete log of course.

Thanks in advance I really love the software <3

Comment from Joris:

Thanks for the video. We know the logfile says that Flash is not installed while you actually have installed it correctly. We do require the logfile to have your system specs on file, so we know what setup we have to test on ;)

In the meanwhile, have you tried the suggestions in this thread : viewtopic.php?f=14&t=6650&p=29636&hilit=flash+ie#p27656
