I did indeed, it's the same with every cable :-(

Re: Blackmagic SDI Cards are pants. Prove me wrong!

So, I’m back! Decklink Mini Recorder has been updated to the very latest firmware (and latest Desktop Video software) and the Mini Monitor has been removed. I’ve also applied the latest Resolume update. Result is still the same :-( In fact it’s even more pronounced this weekend because I’ve split my...

Re: Blackmagic SDI Cards are pants. Prove me wrong!

Howdi both,

Thanks for coming back to me. SSD is definitely on SATA, so no issues there.

Only other card in the machine is a BMD Mini Monitor (SDI out) but I’ve never used it, so this can easily be removed.

Not sure on firmware version but I can certainly check this after tonight’s show.

Sure, Intel i7-8700 3.2Ghz MSI Mortar Motherboard 32GB RAM 480Gb Samsung SSD GeForce 660ti GPU Win10 Pro BMD Decklink Mini Recorder PCIe CPU never gets above 20%, nor does RAM or GPU. Arena FPS never drops below 60, even with multiple layers and multiple loops triggered alongside the cam input. Star...

Blackmagic SDI Cards are pants. Prove me wrong!

Hi All, Has anybody in the known universe managed to get smooth video from a Blackmagic capture card? Latency I don't mind, I'm expecting a few frames here and there, but the choppy, stuttering capture is just a dealbreaker. I know it's not Resolume (because BMD's own app shows the same) and I know ...

Re: Resolume Avenue and Arena 7 Available Now!!!

Are you going to be offering the usual 50% off Black Friday deal on renewals as well? I too would be interested in this - obviously if they’re moving to an annual model my worry is they’d see this as being a bit too easy to just get onto an annual Black Friday renewal and never pay full price....bu...

Re: I need PC build for live feed and almost no delay

That's great, but is resolume work more on CPU or gpu so that i7 is enough or should pick i9 so that can process more. Idk if switcher going to be pretty looking like only using reaolume To be honest, my previous spec was showing very low resource usage during the choppy vid slowdowns, so I couldn'...

Re: I need PC build for live feed and almost no delay

Just to pick up on this - sounds like I do similar work to the OP and also need to use Resolume for live camera - we work with super-wide LED walls so often need to put graphics either side of any live feed, to stop presenters from looking 5 metres wide. I'm in the process of upgrading my rig - new ...
