Re: quadro o geforce

Only use quadro's if you need more than 4 or so sync'd outputs (for projection layering or blending) otherwise save your money and get a more powerful and cheaper Geforce card. You can use FX4's to get sync'd outputs and the cost of a FX4 and a Geforce card will be cheaper than a Quadro card.

Re: DMX Fixture Profile For GMA2 (Arena V6)

Sorry, This is long gone. TBH mapping something out in Resolume takes a whole 5 min. So it would be easier to just create your own MA profile (without all the stuff you wouldn't need) and then just do a quick click and map in Resolume. I can build you out a custom MA profile if you need it, but it w...

Re: SMPTE, autoload next clip, or autoplay clip

100% A Lighting Console is the way to go if you have one. I would prefer this method over having Resolume trigger it, that way if something goes wrong, there's only 1 place to look at, The cue stack :)

Re: SMPTE, autoload next clip, or autoplay clip

+1 I requested this a few years back. There's a bit more complicated reasons to why this is a grey area. What if there are two things going at once, or what if a DJ misses the cue or skips past it while playing live. I tried my best to get this done in house but I believe it just got added to the re...

No, from what Holm is saying is that your ethernet port is NOT ethernet so you can't connect it to other ethernet devices.

Re: Dmx Fixtures with RGBAW+UV

True, But the only fixtures I've encountered with UV on them are uplights and some larger wash lights. Things you wouldn't pixel map each cell with. What are you trying to map? Are they making LED rope lights with UV now?

Re: Clip names saved with preset save

Going back to a previous answer: How is Resolume suppose to know the difference between Fulvous, Coquelicot, or Orange? Or Amaranth, Falu, or Red? If you save the Solid Color set to a color of your choice and then you save that as a preset, When you drag that preset (still a source) into your comp, ...

You can manually add in a blank spacer channel in the meantime.
