Have you tried the slide fx then animating it and slowing down the speed?

Having the info bar at the bottom (with the version #, clock and system stats, flash green for a second then fade would be nice. and a auto save feature with a drop down menu for time would be nice.

Yeah Raid 0 is a big no for me. Like Zoltan said any modern SSD setup really doesn't benefit that much from raid IMO.

If this is just for studio work, pretty much any common monitor is HDCP compliant. So this is very strange behavior.
For live events I would go SDI all day, that always works. (If you don't need 4k)
Sounds like another weird OSX bug to me.
To my knowledge, there isn't a way to turn HDCP off in OSX.

Welcome to advanced mapping 101. It takes time (If you want it done right). I wish there was ways to speed things up, but I'm not sure of anyway to really do it. I would make the 7 or so copies in Advanced Output just like you have done. With each look as it's own virtual screen, then in Slice Transform I would cycle the looks (Screens). You're doing it right, making your looks and mapping them in Advanced Output. I would just do each look as it's own screen...

Have you checked on Juicebar for any effects like this? Lots of dev's are posting their custom fx on there. You might be able to reach out to one of them as well for a custom built ffgl if you can't build what you need.

Apple is 50/50 for HDCP devices I've seen. I've had to run the direct support at a 85,000 person festival through NDI our of his Apple into my PC (via NDI) and that into our E2 system all due to Apple not playing well with HDCP handshakes.
