Bypassed Effects

I would like if their was a preference setting that would initialy have the opacity set to 0 as you patch them. But allow you to preview the effect allowing you o tune the parameters first an then bring p the opacity to blend the effect in. Dropping an effect on to a live layer can look a little amature.

If you hold down the 'Alt' key whilst dropping the effect, the opacity will be set to 0.
Also if you use Effect clips (drag an effect on an empty clip) you can preview the effect like you would do with a normal clip.
