Video Looping and other idéas

Post by Babcom »

Hi there every one.

I dream of a new version of resolume every now and then… Here are some features i'd love to have:

Video Looper.
The tool to record a video sequence and instantly play it again and again and…
Maybe as a clip idle to be played from a specific source that starts to record as soon as it is trigged. And then looped.

Video holder:
a Source clip that is the specific place where recorded video is presented. So that you could record for quite a bit and already have your effects rigged and ready to play with the new clip.

Live video effects:
To be able to draw with your body. Move around with a live camera.

Freeze frame effect:

And Long shutter speed effect:

Vuo composition integration.
To be able to import and run Vuo compositions right from Resolume and not via Syphon.

Simple 3D tool.
Take a vector or Text (font) and expand its thickness to make it 3D. And a 3D light on this :D

Or is there already ways to achieve my needs?

All the best. Babcom

And another feature that would make my day, would be to be able to specify what layer or area of the output that is recorded. As it is now you record the whole project. And with a lot of outputs the size of the composition is quite huge, and takes a lot of extra power to record everything…

Bump any one?!

You might try the "stop motion" and "trails" effects to emulate the last two effects.
Video looper is a good idea.

As for Vuo.......
Vuo comps are supposed to be exportable as a plugin.... per the manual...
Yet it states on their road map that -deploy compositions as FFGL plugin- isn't even scheduled,
which is what you need.
Vuo wants $80 just to try the beta software, without testing.
Scary
