Scope and / or Level or Brightness / Contrast

Post by hive8 »

I was wondering if it is possible to add following to the advanced output in Arena, right now we have black level compensation and general Brightness and Contrast.

What be cool to have would be.

Individual channels for RGB for Brightness and Contrast
Maybe even color curves like in Photoshop

Maybe even a scope to see the output, vector scope, histogram and RGB parade.

wouldn't that function be better as a ffgl plugin?
I always have to adjust individual clips when doing a new project.

It would be good as individual but also in the advanced output, since when you work with different LED panels at the same time you want to get a uniform look.

Yes your right as well, would be great on both...

As an led tech who has worked with a pretty wide variety of panels (lighthouse, martin, elation, chauvet and various Chinese) I believe every mapping system I've used has had some version of RGB/Color Temp control. Still not exactly what you asked for, which would be a cool feature, but it could get you started.
