Just gave it a whirl, but I'm finding Tapatalk's business model pretty offensive. It opt-out subscribes me to forum that have nothing to do with my interests and demands opt-out access to my entire FB profile, instead of just the info it needs to confirm a Tapatalk profile.

To be honest, I'm not really feeling it.

Yeah it annoys the hell out of me when I go to a forum and it constantly says I should download the app to view the forum. I'd prefer a mobile/touch optimised CSS theme that loads when I visit on a tablet/phone.

css theme would be another alternative, but harder to implement.
Using the viewport size setting would get rid of the constant zooming in and out.

tapatalk worked for me without any facebook permissions, and I could choose my subscriptions.
