FR: remember program GUI settings between sessions

Post by knickers »

i run a monitor turned 90 degrees so that it is taller than it is wide
this is to create an 8x8 clip grid to correspond to my launchpad.
it is a great way to work.

however, every single time i load Resolume, i have to grasp the separator and bring it down so that the 8x8 clips are visible, rather than just the first four. Resolume does not remember this position upon exit.

gif example of what i have to do every time i run resolume:

please save me a couple seconds each time i use your cool software. shouldn't be too hard!

Not only that but (for me at least) Resolume will change the value in config.xml every time I open and closes the application without any changes.

Code: Select all

<Layout>
            <Item index="0" minimumSize="91" maximumSize="360" preferredSize="360"/>
            <Item index="1" minimumSize="3" maximumSize="3" preferredSize="3"/>
            <Item index="2" minimumSize="350" maximumSize="4096" preferredSize="553"/>
</Layout>
Index 0 (the layer panel) max and preferred seems to gravitate toward 300 or so, no matter what I want.

Edit the config manually and watch Resolume correct them for you when you open the app.
