Input Live Text & Countdown timer.

A really nice feature to have is a Live Text input similar to Arkaos Grand VJ. I work on some high end private affairs and it would be nice to place messages up on the LED Wall/Screen as clients ask.

Also a simple countdown timer would be great too. New Years Eve, time remaining till the headliner performs, etc.

If your on mac they bundle one with quartz and i always download some old SWF ones that work at times.

But it would be handy for sure.

I use vMix to do countdown timers and sometimes custom text. I believe you are also able to write your own template so it looks like whatever you want - although I havnt played with this much yet. I used to also use flash but have found it unreliable some of the time.

However I am on windows. So vMix -> DirectShow -> Resolume Sources

I've never understood why there is no simple typewriting possible in Resolume, I must have explained countless times to clients I cannot simply type some words on screen but have to open Illustrator, type a name, word or whatever, save it as PNG and then drag it to Resolume, they don't understand, I don't understand and the SWF thingy I once bought from TenTon ( if not mistaken) is not doing what I need, display simple text on screen....

Yuckfou, have you tried using the quartz composer examples packaged with Resolume? While this isn't exactly the live text feature as requested, it may help you serve your clients in some of these situations.
