Trigger by System Time

Post by RossMcIntosh »

Hello,

I've searched and can see that this has been discussed before. Usually around New Year. ;)

I have been using Qlab for the past couple of years to trigger clips, but...
I was wondering if you kind people would consider adding the trigger "System Time" which would work for clips or columns.

As a further option, perhaps, the option to trigger at Intervals with Duration.
Example, Trigger the clip every 5 minutes for 1 minute or for duration of clip.

Thank you for your consideration.

Ross

Check out Zoltán's controller: http://palffyzoltan.hu/?url=controller

You can trigger cues on the system clock by using the Scheduled Launch feature that lets you choose the time in hh:mm:ss which is perfect for NYE!

I meant to reply at the time Oaktown to say thank you for your suggestion.

I decided to continue with Qlab on that ocassion because I was familiar with it.

I was hoping for some input from Resolume staff as to whether this might be a consideration as it's something I have to do with some regularity and I'd prefer not to have to rely on another application or even some kind of server to rigger multiple instances in remote locations.

Thanks again.
