Using videowall splitter

Post by Tony »

Hi, I'm researching solutions for a projection setup with multiple projectors. I'm not sure yet how many, but maybe 8.

Has anyone worked with one of these videowall splitters? I found many threads about the Datapath products, but they are too expensive and I won't be needing all the features. I just want to split 4K into 4 different HD outputs.
I found this product from InLine:http://www.inline-info.com/en/signal-co ... 4k-ultrahd which seems to do exactly what I need.

Am I missing something important here? The idea is to use two of these, and split two 4K DisplayPort signals into 8 separate HD signals, and run this from a single computer. (Mac Pro probably)

Thanks!

I have not personally tested it but here is another option: http://www.lindy-usa.com/4K-DisplayPort ... 38418.html
