The Dj mode is for clip triggering and alike
While the Effector mode is the midi CC controls - 24 controllers 2 buttons per controller, up and down nudging. Or you can change the value with the rotary. I love the way the value is counted on the buttons.
The drum pad mode is just that.
still haven't figured the Daw mode.
