dxv transcode with adobe media encoder giving weird fps

Post by soup@liastudios.com »

DXV transcoding with adobe media encoder; everyones favorite game! For some reason my clips keep coming out at 29fps instead of 29.97, can anyone offer any insight? steps shown in photos

as soon as you pick DXV youre only preset option is custom, i wish you could just match source and change to DXV?

Indeed, we're working on these.
Try exporting with a whole number FPS for the time being.

It's the FPS number that's set wrong.
So you could also try to export to separate video and audio files and merging them in Resolume, that will set the video's length to the audio length.

glad to know I'm not crazy! had this same problem last week, spent all day saturday trying to figure it out... converting 29.97 to 30 in after effects seemed to work fine. hopefully 23.98 to 24 works as well too as those clips were also showing as 23fps
