Re: Common Layer

True, and if you always used three layers, and would add a fourth one to be a common layer, it would work quite nicely. When you think of other possible scenarios though, what would happen if you added a common layer, but other decks have content in that layer? And what would happen if you loaded a...

But a common layer wouldn't require triggering a clip in another deck – the clips would exist (and load) in every deck…

Re: Library items expanded by default

Just wanted to bump this one, since it’s been a couple of years! It's a simple change that would save people a lot of time. Either effects list defaults to collapsed or it remembers the state it’s in. Scrolling up and down the list is slow at the moment, and as more effects and pre-sets are added it...

Re: Video capture card

Or, if your computer doesn’t support the BMD solutions (which seems to apply to most laptops, including those with USB 3) you can get the Matrox MX02 Mini which after the workarounds described here works fine. Not nearly as ‘nice’ as BMD though, getting support is a pain in the ass whereas BMD are s...

MIDI mapping screenshot capture

Possibly a bit niche, but it would be really handy to be able to take screenshots more easily – multiple key shortcuts are a pain to find in the dark when you’re not using the keyboard for anything else anyway. I find that screenshots are a nice way to save something from an event and have something...

Screenshot issues

Not sure if this has been posted before (I couldn't find it), the file names for screenshots could do with some tweaking - right now Resolume seems to just add a heap of 1s after the clip's file name for each subsequent shot. How about using the date and time?

Another +1 from me – scrolling with the mouse is a total pain in the ass.
