Re: Win 10 : extend by default

I am looking for a solution to this problem as well. Win7 seemed to run with the default as what was last selected. The new Win10 Creator Edition has a new fancy black display control panel that defaults to mirror mode. It is hard to search for fixes to Win10 problems as it is the new update that is...

Re: Resolume Arena 5.1.3 Crashing Every Other Startup on new Alienware PC

I just suggested to a client that they buy a new Alienware laptop with a 1060 card to run Resolume. It was egg on my face that it could do anything up until enabling an output. As soon as they tried to use it the application would hang. Thanks for the suggestion about the Realtek driver. I was looki...

Re: Adobe 2018 April kills DXV

Any word on the plugin? I need to load this on to the show computer. The PNG sequences worked when there was no audio.

Fall back to H264?

Re: Adobe 2018 April kills DXV

Excellent really looking forward to it. The showing of the artwork is next Friday. So I am happy to beta test - or alpha test. My current work around is to render to Jpeg 2000 MXF OP1a using RGB 4:4:4 10bit and include Alpha Channel. This is only an option in Adobe Media Encoder, and does not show u...

Re: Adobe 2018 April kills DXV

Wow, the timing of this is very unfortunate. A five year in the making artwork about to be presented. Frantically sending AE files with alpha back and forth to the editor (in another city) who uses Premiere, and then back to the presentation computer that uses Resolume. I just built a dedicated play...

Re: List of problems (partially QHD / Win8 related)

I would like to add my vote to getting a fix for hidpi screens. I bought an xps15 for Resolume, and Adobe software, only to find it very hard to use. Adobe Photoshop CC2014 has a fix now, which is great except I am a CS5.5 user. The other software I use is Vectorworks, and that is also unusable. Tex...

Re: Windows8 problems - Roland V-800HD and Korg NanoKeys

I have one of these infernal XPS15 machines. Though I have no trouble running the internal screen at 3600x1800 and an external FullHD display via the mini display port (to hdmi via adapter) with another FullHD screen attached via hdmi. That is a total of 7440 pixels across on a laptop, and I haven't...

Re: Resolume interface at lower resolution than screen.

O.K. Solved my own problem. There is a setting in windows for an application that is to scale the display for high DPI settings. If I disable this then I get the 20 columns of clips to choose from at once. I expect I will not always want this this setting enabled, but it is good to have the choice.
