Using Arena for corporate shows - rehearsals specifically.

I use Arena for all the fun stuff.. but the stuff that pays the bills is corporate. I'm all good for run of show. It works perfectly. But for rehearsals there's one thing I get asked for all the time, and I haven't found a solution. The show caller always says "Go to the last 30 seconds" o...

Re: Polygon stretching points not working as expecte

zaniz wrote: Wed Jan 10, 2024 20:59 Ianmcdan, are you using the large square edit points on the advanced output ?
The small points dont do perspective correction.
The larger square edit points don't exist with a polygon slice sadly.

Polygon stretching points not working as expected.

I have a project where I want to sample an image, in perspective, then corner-pin those areas onto a square surface. However, the stretch is pinching across odd areas instead of an even stretch. I was trying to pick 4 points of the input, then square those up on the outputs.. but that's not working....

120fps playback

Wondering if anybody has experimented with high framerate playback? I have a client that wants to do a movie shoot... All content will be made at 24fps... but on set they want to play back at 120fps to a video wall (I will have a processor and wall that will support 120) to do some slo-mo stuff... a...

Re: SMPTE Jumping with inputs set the same

It was coming from the music director on stage. For testing proposes... here is a link to one of the time code files that caused the issues. Works just fine as long as you’re not sending it to both SMPTE 1 and SMPTE 2 at the same time through the same physical input. https://www.dropbox.com/s/7i4p4i...

SMPTE Jumping with inputs set the same

Using 6.1.1 on High Sierra 10.13.6. I'm taking in SMPTE via Focusrite 18i8 .. When both SMPTE input 1 and 2 are set to the same input channel, it jumps all over the place. When I take SMPTE input 2 to anything else, it all settles down to where it should be. This seems to only be happening in higher...

Re: Flash Frame while triggering new clip.

Thanks! Sent the e-mail. Hope that this works! In the mean time, I tried just separating the clips as suggested and it seemed to work. Although I was dropping serious frames since I'm also rendering after effects with nearly 100% CPU on all cores while doing this... But there was no flash frame doin...

Re: Flash Frame while triggering new clip.

So playing audio and video separately? Hmm... That would make sense if it's buffering the audio...

It will be an hour before I can test. I've got all my machines rendering after effects at the moment.

Re: Flash Frame while triggering new clip.

It's a very straight-forward comp. DXV codec. 1664x1248 (which is to accommodate the four screens I'm outputting to. (Inside of two 1920x1080 outputs) All the clips are at 29.97. Even with a slight fade, I still see a small amount of the video. It's like it hasn't emptied out the buffer from the las...
