Re: Resolume Avenue 3 released

Nice to hear or read.... good work, but: Doooh, still no Flash support.... so it´s gonna be a full year after i bought this thing (July last year or such!), ´til i finally can use it !? I can´t really enjoy the "final" release and still have to use R2.4 for another long time as it seems. I...

Re: Do i perhaps want my money back...??

well... that´s what it´s all about:

"hold tight, ___(place things concerning reso3 in here as you like) will be with us soon"

is a quite common thing we hear at the moment.

Do i perhaps want my money back...??

So it seems to be my job to do a little complaining about the actual release- policy. I paid for your Software some 4 month ago with the announcement in mind to get the full version around the end of september or such. Now it´s nearly december and there´s still not much more than a by no means fully...

Re: Resolume Avenue 3 Beta Now Available!

That´s very cool. I don´t need FFT anyway, as i always thought, it didn´t help me out to really get the groove out of a track. I like bpm-based sequencing best when it comes to syncing to music. Which Actionscript- Version will be supported then? AS2 or AS3? And how about flv- playback via swf- cont...

Re: Resolume Avenue 3 Beta Now Available!

Will Flash have the same features like in R2 btw. ?

I loved the Flash- Variable Feature in the old Version. It gives the possibility to do kind of generative graphics or put multiple fonts in one Flashfile and so on.

Re: How to entirely remove source video with Pix in Space?

Looks like this (even with alpha as mixmode, which i finally found after looking through that list a hundred times ;) ):

Re: Some thoughts on FreeFrame

Well, here is a list of my favorite effects at the moment. It´s not a list of what is really missing in R3 but an overview of what i use most besides all classic colorcorrection (which are definetly there in the new version). - barshift - rebelle - huescale - halftone - christmas balls (with the bal...

Re: How to entirely remove source video with Pix in Space?

I had the same problem. Putting the effect- mixmode (add, subtract ....) to wipe with opacity at 100% did the job for me, but i think, there should be an alpha (like it´s called in Reso 2) or normal mixmode for effects.

Re: Some thoughts on FreeFrame

I double that thought. For me/ us Resolume was always the best vjtool, because we very often take our clips and shred them with massive filter usage. Simple Clip- Playback is provided by dozens of other Vj- Tools, i think. And i guess it will take ages til there is an even half as massive amount of ...

Re: Resolume Avenue 3 Beta Now Available!

hi guys, as I said in another post: nice work for now. I think that, though I did just play around for some short minutes, everything looks way cool and fresh and will be fun to use. Actually there´s just one prob, that makes me see r3 as not of real use for me: nearly half of my stuff is flashbased...
