Re: ISF - Interactive Shader Format

+1 to ISF support I've been converting loads of Shadertoy code to ISF and FFGL, because I prefer working with shaders to wrangling video clips. MadMapper supports ISF in Windows, so it's possible. It's a shame that there are so many different shader formats, rather than a universal standard, but in ...

Global setting - Default Envelope

I'm still on Arena 6, so apologies if this already exists in 7... It would be nice to have a global setting for "default envelope" - I personally find Sine In/Out to be much smoother than Linear for the animations I want. Right now, every time I choose an envelope, I have to change the typ...

"Clear" option for dashboard knobs

I brought this idea up in a different thread a while back - I think it's worth its own topic to see if anyone else will rally behind it. Currently, once a parameter is assigned to a dashboard knob, the only way to clear the dashboard knob is to go to the parameter and deselect it there. This often i...

Re: Envelopes!

+1

I've started using an Arturia Beatstep for some basic BPM/MIDI step sequencing; would be lovely to have this functionality directly supported inside Resolume.

Multi-select for generators

I use a lot of FFGL source plugins (in Windows), which appear under Sources > Generators. I'd love to be able to select and load multiple generators at once, in much the same way that you can select multiple clips / effects, drag and drop them, and have them fill a row of clip slots. I'm guessing th...

Re: Assigning MIDI to effects in R6

One more suggestion - it would be nice to drag an effect onto a dashboard knob and have it automatically map to the first parameter. The first parameter on every effect is always opacity, so the behavior would be consistent, and you would no longer have to unfold/refold the effect parameters every t...

Re: Assigning MIDI to effects in R6

Thanks for the response - I had a feeling that was the case. I guess most people don't use the UI to keep track of their effects chains. It's too bad, I really loved the flexibility of being able to reorder effects and get different looks quickly, without screwing up the mapping assignments. But lik...

Assigning MIDI to effects in R6

Hi All, I realize I'm late to the party on this comment / request, but I only recently discovered that the way MIDI is assigned to effects has changed from R5 to R6. It used to be that MIDI assignments were linked to an effects slot, meaning you could rearrange the order of your effects, but knob 1 ...

Re: Save / export plugin parameter settings

These are both pretty good workarounds, and I will probably make use of them both. Of course, a "Presets" pulldown associated with each source plugin would be even better.

Thanks for the tips!

Save / export plugin parameter settings

I use a lot of FFGL source plugins in my sets, and I generally tweak the parameters a bunch, so I can use several instances of the same plugin, each with its own distinct look. I can create a composition with a bunch of these plugins, and save it, and all the plugins with their parameter settings wi...
