Re: I WANT TO RUN RESOLUME WITH LOTS OF OUTPUTS! PLS HLP!

Resolume does outstrip Watchout in VJ ability but you can easily capture Resolume into Watchout using Datapath capture cards. Check out Bart Kresa Studio who does big shows using the power of both Resolume and Dataton Watchout .... https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCBJv-_cYPxAA4kWe-m3ANww David For ...

Re: I WANT TO RUN RESOLUME WITH LOTS OF OUTPUTS! PLS HLP!

Hi Joedanger, After reading your post having the need of 14 projectors 1920x1080 panoramic blended I look into WO and they are asking $cad $50,000 ... good for you, I can’t justify this expense at least for now. Tell me more if you can? Did you look into Vioso? It wasn't that much. And correction, ...

Re: Link 2 or more Resolume

Resolume is a VJ software. From what I see on the website, provideoplayer is a playback software capable of spanning across multiple displays. We use a combination of dataton, which is provideoplayer for windows, and resolume in our venue. 5 Dataton PCs consisting of 1 Master Content/Production PC c...

Re: I WANT TO RUN RESOLUME WITH LOTS OF OUTPUTS! PLS HLP!

I had the same need (output to 16 projectors) but in the end we went with Dataton Watchout v5. I did not have easy access to an FX4 so I could not test whether the GTX1060 can be extended in this way. The point is not in extending the displays but whether resolume has the ability to individually map...

Re: Epson projectors Tiling feature (multiple projectors from one super-resolution output?)

It appears that I have misunderstood this feature. According to the Epson rep, it is either edge blending or tiling. One cannot edge-blend and then tile into one large display. It is indeed to good to be true.

Anyway when the projectors come I will test it out myself and update the forum.

Epson projectors Tiling feature (multiple projectors from one super-resolution output?)

I was perusing the manual for the epson projectors we have on order and I came across this interesting feature: https://files.support.epson.com/docid/cpd5/cpd51321/source/adjustments/container_topics/multi_projector_tiling_images_container.html Where essentially using only the projector built-in sof...

CPU: More Cores or Higher Clock Speed?

Hello all, I will create a separate thread for my build. I am not new to high performance pc or server builds, but I am new to projection mapping. I have been tasked with researching a build for what will be the first install of its kind in my country, and I need assistance/advice. Say, for a build ...
