Are there any plans to make resolume work with multiple sound inputs soon?

See also this post: http://resolume.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=5&t=14191&p=58745#p58745. But this post didn't answer my question. So, what I mean is that u can select from multiple physically isolated sources (like, the separate inputs on an interface or mixing table sent to your pc through u...

Re: External inputs: only one? How to isolate sounds? Separate L en R?

hi georgeberlin and dinga Thx for your replies. I understand the tip of making multiple layers with e.g. the same clip and make parts of it react to different frequencies of the same input signal, maybe playing the clip in each layer at the same time. Cumbersome however. But... regarding all the oth...

Re: External inputs: only one? How to isolate sounds? Separate L en R?

hi Dinga I'm sure there is a long list :D. Just wondering how I can do it right now, maybe with other softwares. I don't know what you mean with FX versus triggering (Yes, I'm a noob regarding VJ'ing :) )? I just want to be able to let the life video react to the specific sounds that come from a liv...

External inputs: only one? How to isolate sounds? Separate L en R?

Hi Is it correct that Resolume Arena 5 only allows the use of one stereo input channel simultaneously, and has no option to isolate left and right channels? To me it seems mandatory during a live set to be able to use multiple inputs: like one for the kick drum, one for bass, hi-hat sounds and so on...

Re: move projects and data to new pc

Thanks a lot for your elaborate reply! I'm now running viewtopic.php?f=5&t=11392 to collect all my clips. Hopefully the reconnecting will be smooth when I point to this one folder. Thumps up!

move projects and data to new pc

hi I need to move both my project and data to a new pc. Actually, all my video files are now under a different drive letter and subfolders dirs than they will be in the new computer. Is there a way to move everything, and just batch replace the old dir, for example disk1/dir1/dir2 with the new dirL ...

Re: layer vs. clip properties: can u trigger a different blend mode for the layer with each clip?

(how would that behave if you transition from a clip in the same layer?) It would behave just fine I guess, if the transition time is zero? The new blend mode could be triggered in half the transition time if it's not zero, I guess blend modes can't be "mixed". I will look into external co...

Re: Store blend modes by clip/column

I agree, clip should be able to trigger blend modes in the layers. Otherwise you just need too much layers. Maybe it's possible through external commands.

layer vs. clip properties: can u trigger a different blend mode for the layer with each clip?

hi all If there is a link to a manual section that answers this question, that will suffice. Thank you. My idea might be wrong, but it seems to me u can't assign a blend mode for a clip in the queued columns (containing all clips) that automatically overrides the blend mode set in the "mixing w...

Nevermind, I think I found it, under different formats... .
