Low FPS, but only for a few seconds?

I'll have 45-60FPS for an hour, and then for maybe 10 seconds, I get only 1-2FPS. Then it picks right back up to 45-60.

It'll happen a few times during a show, maybe 3-5 over 6 hours?

Running Windows 10 with a 1080ti and a beefy CPU. Trying to figure out if this is a known thing.

Any ideas? Thanks!

Separate Clip Start & Loop

I'd like to find a way, or this is a feature request, to designate a clip's start, but separately designate where it loops.

Here's what I mean:

Re: NVS 810 and GeForce GTX1080

I am also doing it this way, where I disable a card, start resolume, then enable them.

The ability to dedicate a renderer card in Resolume would make a big difference for me!

Re: The Ultimate Guide to Multiscreen Output with Resolume

Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't the GPU that is driving the GUI the GPU that will be rendering? If so, connecting the GUI display to whatever card you want to be set as your primary should work for a solution, right? Does the detect, identify, make this display primary. In the Windows or GPU set...

Re: The Ultimate Guide to Multiscreen Output with Resolume

The only thing software wise that I would LOVE to have... is the ability to pick which GPU is the renderer. We've already talked about this, but let's say you have a bunch of GPUs for outputs, and one that's supposed to be the renderer... the process of disabling all of the other cards, opening, and...

Re: The Ultimate Guide to Multiscreen Output with Resolume

Thanks for this Joris!
It would have answered a lot of questions when I was starting out on my multi-screen journey!
I'll hopefully have a bit more to contribute to this in the near future after I get my setup a bit more stable.

Re: batch converting whole files of videos

Adobe Media Encoder has a Match Source setting, which will maintain the resolution, framerate, field order and pixel aspect of the original file. Alright, so I just converted a 700mb 4min Uncompressed 4K into a DXV3 file... and it came out at 73GB. That's regular without alpha, does this sound righ...

Re: batch converting whole files of videos

As mentioned, MPEG StreamClip is a great solution.

If you already have Adobe Creative Cloud, then Adobe Media Encoder is what I use to convert clips, but also render AE and Premiere comps.
