Midi controller feedback crash

Hello, Since a couple of month, when I perform a visual show all night, there is always a moment when my LED feedbacks of my MIDI controllers stop working (there is still light but nothing change when I change something in Resolume). I have to unplug / replug my controller or in the Midi preferences...

Re: Latency between Ableton and Resolume

Thanks, I don't understand too. I realised that I can see the latence between midi In and midi Out in Ableton (the two square on the top right, between "key" button and "midi" button. When I launch a simple note, the yellow square (midi In) and the blue square (midi out) get colo...

Re: Latency between Ableton and Resolume

I'm juste playing basic test footage from resolume (line scape), in order to test the configuration.
I have a PC with Ryzen 2700 + GTX 1080 + 16GO DRR4 + SSD for system and applications.
So, I don't think it's a performance issue .

Re: Latency between Ableton and Resolume

Hmmmmm, I can see the latency is between Live and loopMidi (there is realtime data, so I can see there is a latency). So the problem is there... and I need to send Midi before send OSC

Re: Latency between Ableton and Resolume

Yes there is a buffers that I can modified. But it's for sound, not for MIDI, so it don't change anything. Anyway, when I launch a simple MIDI clip with a note with Ableton, there is no latence to send it to Resolume. Once again, it's only with the faders and potentiometers :geek:

Re: Latency between Ableton and Resolume

Thanks for your reply !
No I didn't try OSC yet because I read that to link Ableton and Resolume on the same computer, MIDI is the best. I think OSC is needed when you have multiple computer. But I will try it, maybe I will have less issue with OSC :/

Latency between Ableton and Resolume

Hi ! :D I'm working on a new show in which I want to controll video (with Resolume) and audio (with Ableton Live). I download LoopMidi in order to send midi note from Live to resolume with a midi clip. Its work very well. The problem is when I try to controll an effect with a fader or a potentiomete...
