Re: DJM-900NXS2 mixing table outputs

I meant SEND instead of RETURN.

Could the SEND be used in case I only have XLR cables?

Thanks. This helps a lot!

DJM-900NXS2 mixing table outputs

Hello, Can someone tell me which output of the DJM-900NXS2 mixing table is best to use so that I can use the external FFT in resolume? Here is a good picture of its back sockets :  https://img.kytary.com/eshop_fr/velky_v2/na/635959749282070000/4d73f459/64337249/pioneer-dj-djm-900nxs2.jpg And here is...

How is "Trails" implemented

Hello,

I would like to port Resolume's "Trails" video effect into a GLSL plugin.

I have been looking online for tutorials but can't find the right search keywords.

I don't really know where to start.

Would anyone outline the main steps in producing the Trails video effect?

Thanks!

Re: Slowing down Resolume

I found this which is exactly what I need : http://resolume.com/blog/3635 "FreeFrame 1.5 also includes a timing function that enables hosts and plugins to reliably render time-dependent visual effects like particle systems and physical simulations. Whether you are running in real time at 60 fra...

Re: Microphone for Live audio effects

I remembered I have a h4n zoom recorder.

This device is perfect for this situation as it acts as an external USB Asio sound card with 2 XLR inputs and has a directional & ominidirectional integrated microphones for backup.

Slowing down Resolume

Hello, I am trying to produce VJ loops using an opengl app I developed that I feed to Resolume using Spout. With my current hardware and resolution requirements I can not use Resolume recording feature nor NDI recorder nor any recorder I could find. Frames keep dropping and the whole system is slowi...

Re: Microphone for Live audio effects

This is the soundcard I bought, thanks for the advice. It has happens that the sound guy is not close enough or that he didn't have any socket available or for lack of time. Anyway, it actually happens. So I need a microphone as a backup plan. Would you explain though what "come out a matrix or...

Microphone for Live audio effects

Hello, I am looking for a microphone that I could use with my external audio card when it's not possible to be directly plugged into the mixer console. The microphone would be used as an input in Resolume so it could be used to make some effects reactive. It would be used in rooms of different shape...
