Re: TRAKTOR KONTROL F1

I also own the NI kontrol F1 for my DJing, perfect controller for resolume also indeed!

afaik... you do not have different pages in MIDI mode.

However, when you press shift on the F1, all buttons send out a different control!
So basically you have 2 "layers" of knobs.

Re: My considerations so far.

About the "clear clip slot" question... Isn't that already iplemented in a bit different way? OK, there is no direct keymap for it but a rightclick on the clip position and a leftclick on "clear" is enough. ( Or is this what you like to see improved? ) Also, if you want to replac...

Re: Big Time! MIDI Mapping almost gone…

Hi Tschoepler, I'm gonna try to reproduce this issue tonight and let you know what happened. I can't say i've had these issues and i made a lot of MIDI map and settings files in the last years... With backup i mean a different/external location indeed, but just for occasional issues. so that i can g...

Re: Big Time! MIDI Mapping almost gone…

I guess a simple solution is to rename and save your own (MIDI map)settings to something unique ?! I think a different folder isn't even necessary... I always name my settings to the controller i'm using.. so for example (Application_MIDImap_BCR2000_001 / Composition_MIDImap_APC40_001.... etc.. ) An...

Re: Scaling 1920x1080 down to 640x480 in AFX for Avenue

1920x1080 and 640x480 are not the same aspect ratio. (16:9 vs 4:3) So you will always end up with black bars/scaling problems/stretched/compressed image... (The 1920x1080 video's are perfectly usabale inside Avenue, but don't use "scale to composition" funtion if your composition is not th...

Re: Changing Comp Resolution.

After some testing i found another thing...

If you remove the "Add Substract" effect from the demo composition (composition effects) after scaling to 800x600, the output is OK.

Re: Dual Graphics Cards?

In this thread some users are testing codec performance results, also with some extended setups. It seems that 2 matrox dualheads on one card worked well on Avenue 3 on 4000 px (but is still a bit jerky on 8000 px horizontal resolution in Avenue/Arena 4 beta....) http://www.resolume.com/forum/viewto...

Re: Dual Graphics Cards?

Good luck with that resolution... I don't think any PC can deliver such amount of pixels rendered in realtime these days :), not even with a SSD.. But i hope i'm wrong :) As stated above, Dual graphics cards won't help you performancewise, while Avenue/Arena uses one GPU. Personally i think you only...
