Re: Problems using WaveClock with Resolume Avenue 4.1.8

Ahah! That solved the problem. Simply re-starting Waveclock, with all the settings still set in Resolume, solved the problem. I'm glad that was a simple fix (I was really starting to go crazy with this one). :-)

Thanks a lot, Joris!

Problems using WaveClock with Resolume Avenue 4.1.8

Hello Resolume gurus... I'm having trouble using the latest version of Resolume Avenue with Waveclock (http://wavesum.net) for BPM sync. I've installed Waveclock successfully using the MIDI audio setup window (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hgFA_fdup7g#t=95) and I've gotten Resolume to successfully...

Re: Resolume TouchOSC layout for iphone or iPod RubenS style

This works great! All hail the wonders of hard work and modern technology. Now I just need to figure out a practical application for the thing... Cueing tracks while in the bathroom...?

Re: Offset start point?

I'd love to see this feature implemented too. However, I would like to see it implemented slightly differently. Given gavspav's example: i--------x-------o I'd like to start at "i" and then loop from "x" to "o." Basically a preroll at the beginning of a clip (similar to...

Fast video capture for Resolume

Hey all, I'm looking for suggestions for video capture (to be used as a live video source) within Resolume 3. I've tried Firewire inputs, but the video signal is always interlaced, and the frankly the Resolume Avenue deinterlacing software leaves much to be desired (it really has no effect on interl...

Solid State Drives

I'm interested in purchasing a new MacBook Pro for use with Resolume. I'm wondering if the solid state drive option offered (256 GB) would be faster than the standard 7200 rpm hard drives? I'm aware that SSDs aren't as fast at writing as HHDs, but it seems that they're speed in playback would be an ...

Re: maximum clip lengths

I have the same question. I notice that longer clips definitely play much choppier than shorter clips using the same codec. Much of my animation is ultra smooth, so the choppiness makes my work look like crap. So far, my longest clip is 1:30, but I've shortened this to a minute to get better perform...

Re: Bump on clip trigger

Yeah, I've been having the same problem on XP Pro SP3 with the DXV codec. No other codecs cause this problem, but the DXV codec does have the best performance by far. Such an annoying little bug for a codec that works so great!

Of course, I'd prefer an alpha channel with the codec!

Re: Resolume 3.0.1 Released

Alas, this update has proven to be buggier than 3.0 for me. Not only do my videos play much choppier than before (which was already an issue), but when I play media, it is always off-center (about 50 pixels shifted to the left at 640x480). Using the "Maximize Video" button always places th...

Re: DXV codec.... very impressed!

That's really exciting about the DXV codec. I'd love to bump up my resolution to HD without a performance hit. My only disappointment is that the codec doesn't support true alpha channels yet. Bart/Edwin, is alpha channel support on the roadmap for the DXV codec?
