Re: performance slow down

Hey 1mpar... I recently have had performance issues with he program because of low RAM. I would suggest that you have more than 3gb of RAM if you don't already. I don't know if that will help at all. I'm still running Snow Leopard though, and it seems to be faster and more smooth than Lion. Hope you...

Re: Normal activity monitor levels/temp?

Bump. Turns out the laptop is a bit older than I thought... a 2007 model. It can only take 3gb of RAM (max)... so I'll be replacing one of the 1gb with a 2gb stick later in the week and hope that helps some. I told my boss that ideally I should be running 6-8 gb of RAM for this software. We'll see i...

Re: Normal activity monitor levels/temp?

I didn't think it was normal either... but considering that it's a "work" laptop, God knows what's been done to it ;) Although I would rather the program run more efficiently. I've noticed a very slight "lag" or skipping if you will on some of the video clips I've tried to output...

Re: Normal activity monitor levels/temp?

I should clarify... the above images show Avenue/Resolume open. And that's literally all it's doing. It's not playing any clips or anything.

Normal activity monitor levels/temp?

Hey guys, I'm running a Macbook Pro for work. Its a 2.33 core 2 duo with 2 GB of ram. I notice that my activity monitor is taking 85-90% of the CPU. Sometimes it goes up over 100% (that's just with Avenue open and nothing else!). Meanwhile SMC control tells me it's running at about 70 degrees (150 F...

Re: Post your gig pictures here!

Hey everyone, I'm a newb Just started using Resolume for "The Court Report" here in Wellington, NZ. It's a weekly show, and if you've seen it, I'm the guy sitting behind the projector screen (behind the host) bringing up titles and various videos. Just wanted to say HI to everyone and look...
