Re: NDI HX PTZ control

Hello, I just recieved the new PTZOPTICS Move 4k camera and it also cannot pan/tilt/zoom within Resolume. The focus slider and auto-focus button work though. I can also control the pan/tilt/zoom from the web interface without issue. https://ptzoptics.com/move-4k/ Anyone know how to overcome this? Th...

Re: Resolume Syphon output into Synesthesia

Update: it’s a glitch with Synesthesia. They say it will be addressed in an update soon. In the meantime I wonder if there is a way to rename a syphon after it leaves resolume. Hrm!

Resolume Syphon output into Synesthesia

Hello! Does anyone have experience using Syphon to feed Synesthesia? I am trying to output 2 different syphons streams from Advanced Output and switch between them in Synesthesia, but they are all showing up as the same name so they won't trigger. is there a way to change the output name of a Syphon...

Re: Syncing Ableton and Resolume's BPM via an audio input?

UPDATE: I figured it out! I used the Resolume Dispatcher M4L plugin to send the BPM from Ableton to Resolume. This plugin lets me use Follow Tempo and also output to Resolume simultaneously.

Syncing Ableton and Resolume's BPM via an audio input?

I was curious if anyone is able to sync Resolume's BPM using Ableton's Follow BPM feature. Ableton does a great job determining the BPM based on an audio input, but once I click "link" the follow feature disables. What is the best way to sync Resolume's BPM automatically based on an input?...

Auto-level effect on output?

Hello! So a VERY early version of Resolume had an auto-level effect I could apply to the composition to enhance the contrast and exposure of all of the clips I ran through the output. It seemed similar to the auto-level photoshop filter. I was wondering if there was a way to recreate that effect in ...

Random deck selection via midi or OSC?

Hello! Okay, so I am dividing 5000 DVX loops into decks of 250 loops each to make load times more manageable. My goal is to trigger a new deck randomly every several minutes. I know there is a next and previous deck option via midi and OSC, but is there a random? I could assign each deck a midi note...

Re: Random transitions with Wire in Arena?

Oh wow! Thank you so much!! I got it to load!

It looks like it's using the typical photoshop blending modes. Is there a way to include transitions like shift-rgb, lowrez, noisy, twitch, etc. ? Or would I need to manually create those effect options?

This is so helpful! Thank you!

Random transitions with Wire in Arena?

Ahhh, so there used to be a random transition option but it has since been removed from a recent version. I was reading that Wire can create custom transitions. I don’t have much Wire knowledge yet, but would it be feasible to assume that Wire could create a patch to randomize transitions? Has anyon...

Re: live music video ingest on a mac

Oh wow, thanks for the reply! That is really a shame about USB3.0 not working on the mac. I think I have a solution for the delay. Luckily the DJ uses the new version of Serato, and it has a video delay compensation feature. I'll be able to offset their signal to remain in sync after it is ingested ...
