Re: FFGL Mess....

Sorry, there isn't a tool that just does that.

Probably the best way out of your mess is to check the log file. Plugins that have problems loading will add an entry to the log.

Re: Simple Color Change

For example I’m using the colorize effect What I think is throwing you off is that on the Colorize effect, by default the color is selected via a picker. And the picker doesn't have a triangle to animate it. So you can switch it from picker to HSB mode. This reveals a parameter called Hue, which do...

Re: State of play: DXV vs H.264 decoding, system playback

I'd be thoroughly disappointed in Apple if we'd outperform Quicktime Player on basic h264 playback. That's pretty much its core task and the one thing it needs to get right :D DXV vs HAP is potahto - potayto. HAP uses a newer secondary decompressor, which should it make a fraction faster. The main G...

Re: FX only on Masks - Possible?

Why do you need 100 adjustment clips? If each clip requires a different crop, you're better off rendering them to seperate videos. They'll be synced via SMPTE anyway, so there's not much benefit in muxing them together in post and then separating them again during performance. Noticed that you're no...

Re: State of play: DXV vs H.264 decoding, system playback

We considered the option of giving control away completely, but it comes with so many unexpected side effects that are hard to anticipate and can completely blindside you if you're not expecting them (aside from bpm playmodes, direction and speed becoming unavailable, autopilot would become unavaila...

Re: State of play: DXV vs H.264 decoding, system playback

Not all hardware acceleration is created equal. There is still a huge performance difference between DXV (and codecs based on the same principle like HAP) and hardware accelerated h264, especially when it comes to higher resolutions and playing back many streams simultaneously. The problems with con...

I think He2neg is trying to say that you can animate these effects: https://resolume.com/support/en/parameter-animation

Re: FX only on Masks - Possible?

would it also work with moving the clip via Transform section`?
Why don't you try it and report back? I believe in you!

Re: turn vertical/portrait videos 90°

It makes absolutely zero difference whether you use the rotation param of the first Transform effect or pre-rotate in a different app.

We still have to render the same amount of pixels, we just have to use a different set of values for the corner points.

Re: Hive8 Cloner 64 bit?

The master branch on Github compiles plugins that are compatible with the upcoming Resolume OpenGL 4.1 version, which is not publicly available. We sent you a dev build of the OpenGL 4.1 version though.
