Re: MIDI signal interference?

My 2 cents would be to take all of that MIDI traffic into a program like Bomes and then merge everything together and send it back out another virtual midi device on it's own channel. Example: APC40 comes into Bomes on channel 1. It uses MIDI CC 1-19, and all of it's notes are from -2C to -1B - MIDI...

Re: Resolume RAM usage

Do you have any FX running on anything in your comp while this is happening? Such as RGB Delay, Trails, or Feedback?

Re: Please help. Configuring mainly for Resolume

Looks solid to me. If you're wanting to resell it later down the road, I'd move to a 2070 (should be very similar in price). But that setup should be bale to run anything you throw at it.

Re: NDI plus private network for TouchOSC - possible?

I'd look into NIC metric's of OSX, otherwise, using multiple adapters will lead to a lot of hair pulling in the future ;)

Re: NDI plus private network for TouchOSC - possible?

I have no clue how mac's work these days, But in a windows environment I have 2-3 different IP addresses (and classes) bound to a single adapter. So I can have NDI, Artnet, Show Kontrol, and Novastar on the same adapter with 3-4 different IP addresses. A single Gigabit connection is more than enough...

Re: Option to NOT conform video duration to audio

I would create a layer above each of the video layers and use that for the audio layers, then map both the audio and video to a single shortcut. OR Composite them together in a compositing program (such as premiere). Personally, I always go the premiere route, and charge my time back to the client ;)

Re: Option to NOT conform video duration to audio

Are you adding the audio to it's own layer and blank clip slot? Then just doing a column trigger?

Re: Does Resolume 7 Official Support HAP codecs?

Yes. It's not the most optimized codec for playback, but it works better than h.264.

Re: OSC Get current clip selected

On a side note, I don't believe there is a return command that tells you what clip is connected. For the clip connected state, you can send /composition/layers/*/clips/*/connected String ? to query all the clips in the composition. Then watch for the reply as described here: https://resolume.com/fo...
