as far as im aware ( i have a zero sl ) - automap itself doesnt work with resolume or avenue - that shouldnt stop it working as a normal controller, it just means the setup is a little more manual.

that all seems over complicated, why not just use a dvd recorder? costs less and does what it says on the tin.

in the ap you are sending from, is the right midi output selected? ( what are you sending from?)

in avenue, enter a midi assignment mode, select a control and then send a midi note from the other computer - does it register next to the aselected control in avenue?

this is a surprisingly common occurance across software and even hardware ( ive been using sequencing and music hardware for nearly 20 years ). just work out what the offset is and work with it.

i have a clip with auto pilot settings on layer 1. if i drag it to the playhead on layer 2, it players in layer 1. if i drag it to layer 2 and trigger it as normal in layer 2, its fine. ( this is on beta 2 obv )

i realy like being able to have effects as clips so you can just throw them in when you want. ive just been using instances of IR OSC as effects clips, so you can have sequencable actions at the press of a clip.... lots of fun.
