Re: Adobe DXV Plugins - Specs based on source

The 'Match Source' option is something we wanted to add from the beginning as well. But somehow we did not yet get it to work, we have a ticket running at Adobe to help us out. So hopefully we can offer the 'Match Source' option in an upcoming version of the exporter.

Re: Apple drop OpenGL support :(

Hi Matt, It means that we have work to do! The fact that OpenGL support is dropped doesn't mean Resolume stops working anytime soon. It will take a few years before OpenGL won't be supported at all anymore. We'll have enough time to make a transition to Metal/Vulkan. But we are on top of this of cou...

Re: Live camera embedded in visuals

The Hardwell show was done by good friends of ours, and yes it was all done within Resolume Arena. This is the first time our UV Map research project was put into practice on a big stage. If you want to know how this was done (and yes it will find it's way into Resolume in the future) drop us an ema...

Re: Feedback source as an effect

I think what 'Nackgi' wants is a Feedback effect per Clip/Layer/Composition. Right now the Feedback effect always takes the content of the previous render pass of the Composition. You can't create Feedback local to a Clip a.t.m.

Re: Freeze composition

The 'Freeze' effect has a 'Frozen Solid' checkbox. You can fake the behaviour you guys are after doing the following. Add an extra Layer to your Composition and add a Video Router to a Clip in that layer. When you preview that layer this will be effectively the Composition preview. On the Compositio...

Re: Target clip to specific layer?

Try using Groups. The Layer Target of a Clip works relative the Group it's in. I would suggest making two Groups, one for the SMPTE controlled video clips and another for the overlay clips. Clips out of the Overlay group will never be triggered in the Group for the Video Clips because the Layer Targ...

Re: Sorry to bring it up again: HDR!

Do you have any experience setting up a HDR signal and outputting that to a LED wall? I mean apart from using Resolume is there a way to send a HDR signal from your PC to a LED processor? I know Windows 10 has support for HDR but i was wondering what would be needed to actually get an HDR signal out...

Re: Mask feathering in advanced output

Here at Resolume we call the Advanced Output the 'Advanced Screen Setup', and we abbreviate this all the time. So as you might have guessed we find this feather request rather funny.... :D

Re: Shortcut key for search box on Mac?

There is also a global shortcut (Command+Shift+F) that will focus the Effect panel, bring it to front, and set's the focus on the search box.

Re: Timed trigger

Interesting question, for what purpose would you use this?
For now you could use a Clip with a 'Blank' source, and change it's duration to the time you desire.
Then change the autopilot setting of that Blank Clip to trigger the Clip you need.
