Re: thumbnails

hmm - unless it temporarily flipped to the intel GPU - the laptop is an i7 MSI with a dedicated GPU - even the `Solid` from the Sources panel is now creating these mini icons - I`ll try deleting the thumbfile and starting again - cheers Joohn

thumbnails

Hi - suddenly all my thumbnails are just a small picture in the corner of the frame - is this a resolume problem or ....... ? As you can see from the enclosed picture the previous renderings from after effects were fine, now they all have mini icons that are hard to make out. Can`t tell if they are ...

crash on load up

After installing the new 4.1 all was fine and I had a good evening exploring it - however the next day it crashed on what looked like loading the deck, I repeated this and then switched back to 4.0 which did exactly the same thing. I then realised that i didn`t have the same drive plugged in and hey...

Re: clip label colours

Thanks guys - the autopilot tip is a good one and yes what i`m looking for, dedicated button better though. Re colours - I agree that subdued colours that brighten for selected would work, this is how after effects does it, although to be honest I would even like another level with after effects, pe...

Re: clip label colours

Great, I know that for `straight VJing` grouping is not so crucial and that`s fine, but for other uses of Resolume like running a show that`s `live`, rather than strict `press button cue` as in conventional show control via a lighting desk, then being able to group and see where you are at a moment`...

Re: clip label colours

Thanks for reply - being picky about the software colours is a rather personal thing and says more about your needs than ours! I agree with the above and that the defaults can be as you want, but for function above style, being able to group by colour, for speed of connection and linking is a big lo...

clip label colours

I am currently using Arena to run a theatre show with the back stage graphics and SFX - it`s great, however it would be very handy to be able to change the colour of the clip labels to be able to very quickly visually group and link related clips. Rather as in after effects where one can change the ...

Thumbnails for DXV files in Windows 7

Has anyone a fix for showing the DXV.mov files in windows. I just cannot get a thumbnail of it in Windows 7 64bit. Playing etc just fine but a real drag not to see what the files are as I accrue more and more - slowly working through all the Indeo 5.2 files that are now defunct!

Re: My considerations so far.

I think that it`s a great list, a show run stlye auto pilot sequencer would be fabby and a key to clear a clip likewise. Being able to map layers is essential and an mouse / touchpad control of the XY movement would stop the currently very tedious method to relocate or move a layer. Currently wishin...
