Re: Missing info at minimum hardware on website.

I noticed Resolume can really get annoyed by a slow CPU. Martie, a slow CPU can be a drawback only in R2 and earlier versions. From R3 till today, GPU is the main worker. I've tried Arena on my i7 laptop, full charge (I mean, big comp + six layers + effects, etc), gives me a 20% cpu peak. From I un...

Graphics Card for 6 Outputs. Question.

Hi guys. A friend of mine is asking me, he's planning to build a pc to run Arena, and want to have six outputs via matrox Th2go. His supplier send me a list of availaible components, and a configuration proponsal. The specs are very nice, but includes a HD7970 (or a gtx580 evga as cheap alternative)...

Re: Free Resolume Avenue & Arena 4.0.1 Update

Questions Where's the 'Mask relocate' thing? I can't find it! Is an effect, a panel... I've installed right now the 4.0.1 to give it a try. So the first thing I tried is to make the old cachè effect of a circular iris moving on the screen. This is what I want to achieve: -A Clip with Transform capab...

Re: gif support

I have a nice collection of gifs, not crappy chan, most of my timelapse works or space weather footage. I just put it in a dvx file. I think AE is a better option than QT or Gif2Avi converters, cause you have some control over framerate and scaling (well, I do all my stuff in AE cause I work with it...

Collapse all

I Like to have all that default effect presets. They are very handy. But is really hard to scroll up and down finding something. That's goes into a mess when you save your owns. I'm looking for any sort of undocumented keys combination, or way to collapse all by default. So when I need a preset just...

Re: Particles wih Picture

Little question:
I'm getting a massive fps down in arena when I apply the particles fx.
From 75 to 5fps. Is that normal?

Nividia Quadro fx 880m - i7 820qm
(I remember to achieve better fps in a Nvidia 6200 - PIV machine)

Re: OSC manual

I see that edwin added '/activeclip/' to control the currently selected clip, instead of '/layer#/clip#/' and so.
That's not documented in R4 manual.
Is there an extended osc documentation, or a wildcard complete list?

Re: DXV import button

Certain software (like procoder or carbon coder) allows you to create droplets. That's very handy cause you just drop the clip to the icon and press start conversion, or so.
