Re: make rotation with matrox dualhead

I do that all the time with the triple head 2 go.
If you are not using masks,
you can just use a layer per screen section, and rotate it.
Layer 1, right projector
Layer 2, left projector

The only drawback is that you need to redefine your IR keystone properties.

Re: ... but is it art?

I think that just a couple of times the vjing can be art. There are some guys that eventually can make art from entertaiment, sure! But Vjing itself, don't introduce any formal news to the audiovisual theory, just standarize it over premade forms (the power of the applications). In fact, today mostl...

Re: Buy an SSD hard drive and VJ with your hair on fire!

This degradation of SSD drives is solved with TRIM, info here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/TRIM_(SSD_command) Exactly, TRIM solves the speed degradation over time. Re: BUG? Mask weirdness

The resolume mask are most like a super fun toy, but don't work for usual live masking.
You need to premade all your clips for that.

Maybe someday will be another instance in the pipeline, and the world will be a better place ;)

Re: Flash files not playing

I think that quicktime has nothing to do with your flash clips. If you are over Windows, Resolume needs the active X flash. Nobody needs the old ocx anymore, just install the flash player for IE and Resolume will recognize your clips. Funny, this time your are getting the right message: This program...

Re: Flash 10.1 Problems

Take a look that you can see youtube videos in firefox, opera, etc... but the flash clips won't work in resolume until you install the active X version. I mean, you need to install the IE flash player plugin to make it work over Win7.

Re: Projection mapping with Photoshop and Resolume

Just a tip:
If you don't flatten your image in photoshop before save it as png, the mask will not work. ;)
