Re: XY Pad on TouchOSC

My understanding is that XY pad can only control OSC commands that require 2 float values (such as mapping points in Millumin) but all the Reolume OSC commands are one float value so it takes one OSC command for X and one for Y. If you want to use an XY pad to control two unrelated Resolume paramete...

Re: record button unresponsive

A few questions for you: - How big is your composition (pixel size and number of layers)? - Have you tried to record with a small composition? - Which version of Resolume are you running? - Have you tried to uninstall it and reinstall it. Keep in mind that Resolume is a 32-bit application so even th...

Re: Adding a 2nd graphics card

Based on the power requirements for the GTX780 (http://www.geforce.com/hardware/desktop-gpus/geforce-gtx-780/specifications), I would think that you'd want a 900W power supply to be safe. As far as using a 2nd card with Resolume, here is a post by Joris in http://resolume.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=7...

Re: question about midi

Wouldn't that mean you need to map two midi buttons (one that controls and one that forces the reset value) for each parameter you want to be able to reset? Can you do that?

Re: Clip "load" question

Thanks Joris, this is good to know.

Also if I remove the audio track from the clip, it switches to MM:FF automatically

Re: Clip "load" question

Thanks Joris, It seems that I'm getting both formats on different clips (both DXV) HH:MM:SS:MS where MS is MS, and HH:MM:SS.FF where FF is the frame by using '.' instead of ':' For instance the Orange String file is SS.FF where as another clip I'm using is SS:MM. FF clip.png MS clip.png Any thoughts?

Re: Clip "load" question

Jimib, the main advantage to doing the 'edit' work that you describe in Resolume is that you can make changes on the fly rather than have to re-render your media over and over. If you haven't already, make sure you take advantage of the keyboard shortcuts I & O that let you set your In and out p...

Re: No chance to IMPORT HDMI into Blackmagic INTENSITY Shutt

I use HDMI capture from Macbook Pros and iPad minis all the time using ATEM Television Studio (haven't tested the iPad mini), BMD Decklink Studio, Intensity Pro, and UltraStudio Mini Recorder on both Macs and PCs without any problems so I know it works. Typically I use 1080i60 for the Macbook Pro an...

Re: Macbook integrated vs discrete gpu. No gain.

I can't wait to see your test results! If you can, please test with various configurations of outputs and make sure you do a test with the three outputs (two DP and one HDMI) all in 1920x1080. Also if you have any MST hubs, ZOTAC Mini-DisplayPort to Dual HDMI or Matrox DH2G/TH2G available include th...

Re: Blending modes and Matrox TripleHead2Go

Another option would be to adjust your layers to match your TH2G. Take a look at my replies in post: viewtopic.php?f=12&t=11229 which is based on using a TH2G in 3072x768. Let me know if any of it doesn't make sense.
