Yes, I have noticed this, in the same situation you point out. Trying to drag a controller, it's like the mouse button releases prematurely.

Oh, two quick points:

1) MIDIOX should be running to link the MIDI device to the MIDI Yoke port
2) Set the Entrancer to its Audio mode if you don't want to effect the video (though it can be cool to change the Resolume and Entrancer effect at once).

Output stalls when Resolume is not foreground app?

I have noticed that if Resolume is not the foreground app (ie I use Alt-Tab to switch to anothe rapp), that the output stalls. Is there anyway to prevent this, and to have output continue while another app is in the foreground? I sometimes need to swith to a utility program or a media browser while ...

How to use Entrancer to control Resolume (solved!)

Right, I recently got the Entrancer working as a MIDI controller with Resolume. As you may know, the Entrancer has a touch pad which returns the X and Y axis position as MIDI faders. Also the FX balance knob and a few other controllers are sent. I wanted to use the Entrancer to control Inside-Us-All...

Motion JPEG

Motion JPEG works pretty well. If you use a relatively high compression setting (for example 15 in PicVideo) the bitrate is quite low, and takes a lot of stress of the hard drive.

Problem solved, partially. The problem was that when you touch the pad, it sends an X and a Y signal - ie the controller assigned to X sends its position, then the Y controller sends its position. Since Resolume listens for the first message, it was only picking up the X axis. The solution was simpl...

Any way to force MIDI controller assignment?

I am trying to use a Korg Kaoss Pad Entrancer to control effects in Resolume. The Entrancer has a touch pad, which sends the X & Y axis as two different controllers. However, touching the Y axis also sends modulation info. So in Resolume, when I try to assign Y axis MIDI to an effect parameter, Reso...
