Fullscreen UI on Mac OS X (and Windows)

It would be great if the Resolume UI could go fullscreen, with no window title bar or menu bar (like Ableton Live).

On Mac OS X, why not use the fullscreen app guidelines from Lion and MOuntain Lion?

On Windows, do whatever Ableton Live does.

Re: Resolume slows to a crawl when outputting to two video c

Not sure if you've seen the other thread on this topic, but basically the GPU being used to drive the UI determines the framerate. Another user made sure to connect his UI screen to a fast GPU, and moved one of his output screens to the integrated video (Intel HD 3000) and his framerates went from 2...

Re: Possible to map effects globally across all clips?

Or use a layer with effect clips in it - Layer 3 - clips that you don't want to effect Layer 2 - effect clips, each consisting of multiple effects, with dashboard controlling opacity of each effect Layer 1 - clips to be affected You can probably also get fancy with column triggers so that certain ef...

Re: Possible to map effects globally across all clips?

Why not apply the effects at the layer instead?

Group the clips into layers according to which effects you want to apply... any clips that you want to leave untouched go on one layer, clips that you will effect in other.

Re: über HD pano playback??

I've done this: http://villamil.org/?p=621 Projected at 8192 x 768, 30fps. What worked best was to slice it into segments (2 @ 3072x768, 1 @ 2048x768), with each segment on a separate hard drive. This was crucial - having all three segments on the same drive could not get more than 12 fps. The files...

Re: Preparing video in FInal Cut Pro

I don't have access to my Mac right now, but aren't those just a series of presets? I believe you can make a new preset for rendering, and select DXV as the export format there. Well, I'm afraid you're out of luck on this one. With FCP X, Apple decided to limit the available export codecs to a handf...

Re: How to sync 2 resolume Arena with 2 differente machines

Load the same composition on both machines. Connect both machines to the same network. Enable OSC output (in the preferences) on one machine (master). Set the output port to be same as the input port on the second machine (eg. 7001). Set the destination address to the IP address of the second machin...

Re: How to sync 2 resolume Arena with 2 differente machines

Resolume 4 supports OSC output, so whenever you do something via the UI it triggers the appropriate OSC command. Since these are the same for input and output, you could set up one computer to be master, and set it to send OSC output, and set the other computer to just receive OSC. Load the same (or...

Re: Using four cameras for input

Ok, so I've been doing a bit of digging, and think I might have a solution. Tell me what you think. Ideally, we'd be looking at a digital signal path, in HD. However, the most important thing is framerate, so we're willing to go to analog, 720x480. I have found video capture cards for security appli...

Using four cameras for input

For an upcoming performance, it would be really really helpful to have four camera inputs into Resolume.

So far we've successfully used two cameras, by using two similar (but different) cameras.

What would be the best, scalable way of using four cameras?
