Re: Blend Modes: Clips vs. Layers - Opacity Levels

Exactly. When Resolume would take the clip opacity as a multiplier for the layer opacity (which is what you're suggesting), a clip set to 0% opacity would become visible during a transition from a clip with 100% opacity. Actually, in my needs, when selecting columns I do not intend to use any trans...

Re: Blend Modes: Clips vs. Layers - Opacity Levels

That was the behaviour we had on 5 and which results in this bug: http://resolume.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=12&t=14159 Got you. The bug refered on that topic no longer exists, so far I tested here. I assume that you mean that what I suggested was in fact at place back then and since removed the bug...

Blend Modes: Clips vs. Layers - Opacity Levels

Hello. I wish clip's opacity value could respect the clip's blend mode and work the same as each layer's fader does. If you play a clip with a specific blend mode set on its properties, the blend mode will show up on the layer blend type with an * meaning the clip has its own blend mode on usage. So...

Re: Seeking Advice on Setup for stage

If there's a chance of going rear I'd definetely go for it. It is your only chance to get a better projection quality, since you have so many lights and moving heads on stage. Be sure to try to protect your screen from receiving direct light beams or your projection will get as blank as possible. Al...

Re: Live Input Resolution

Every input source has its own properties panel after loaded into a deck. Check it out.
Anyway... cropping seems to be an issue similar I had with my capture card. Waited for seven years for a solution.

Will be fixed in 6.0.8.
Until that you might need to use force quit to have Resolume exit.
Resolume quits. It is not listed in Task Manager or running services. Yet, it will not start again.

Re: Offline Registration still watermarking

It is a new policy, to avoid user to be obliged to use a physical dongle, for instance. Arena must be able to call home once in a while. After 30 days, if Arena is unable to call home to verify your registered information, it starts acting like not a registered version until you go online and regist...

Re: Help with Projection Mapping

I know how big it is in real life. But how do I model it in cinema 4d. In which proportion? Do I just take the picture in cinema 4d an do it roughly? And later with the lens of the projector I try to fit the correct spot? How can I calculate the distance of the projector before going to the gig, so...

Re: Help with Projection Mapping

It is not the screen size that matters. Actually the screen size is your projection size, which is already fixed by default, meaning you are projecting over a fixed architecture, structure or object. The key is to calculate the proper distance of the projector and its lens value, so the projected im...
