Hey all, I found a really great performance boost that I thought everyone else may enjoy. I have 2 Nvidia cards in my rig and have found that if I run them in Surround mode I get a substantial performance boost within Resolume. This does limit outputs to 5+1 accessory monitor, but interestingly enou...
Ok here is the thought: Let's say in one column I have 3 videos that need to play in sync, and one audio file that also needs to run in sync with the video. Playing them all together is easy, just hit the column header. But if I need to scrub the video forward I can only do it with one and that woul...
Devil's advocate: Why? Well, for starters, as I understand it, it would really open up some capability for the software. As it stands there is a very uncomfortable limitation on the number of clips that can be in a deck. Many users, myself included, are doing some rather large shows that are fillin...
Devil's advocate: Why? As it stands there is a very uncomfortable limitation on the number of clips that can be in a deck. ? Tell me more about this limitations, because I use (and Joris hates me for this) 8 layers with sometimes up to 280 columns of HD content, so thats 2240 clips and I have never...
Hey guys, Hopefully this wouldn't be hard to implement. I will elaborate a bit if it helps. For me, and others I am sure, during rehearsals it is common for a director to want to jump ahead to the last 30, 20, or 10 seconds of a video to practice staging during the video transitions. Currently these...
Joris wrote:He means 'working on 64 bit' as in 'is the Resolume team working on rewriting the software for 64 bit'. Not as in 'does the software work on a 64 bit OS'.
And the answer is yes, we are.
This news is making me irrationally happy. I can't wait!
Eventually Avenue/Arena will be 64-bit, we just don't know when. Keep in mind that they have to rewrite for both Windows and MacOS. Also, as I understand it, there are (or were?) some compatibility issues with plug-ins and other playback components that needed 32-bit support. I'm sure they're worki...

So this is weird. Suddenly all video on layers 3 and above have lost the ability to play. It doesn't matter if I press play in any of the transport controls either. Does anybody have the foggiest idea what could have caused this?
