Re: a very big composition file

Hi Sineglutine The speed at which you can switch between decks is one of the major points of improvement we are working on at the moment. Be sure to always have the latest version installed to make sure Resolume is running optimally. As to the size of the project files, can you send us a link to the...

Re: Slim Black line....

As to the H264 codec question, I'm actually quite surprised to hear your editor suggested it. H264 is a great solution, but only for the right situation. It's great for delivery, but terrible for production. It's a common question though, so I took the liberty to copy/pasting this response from Davi...

Re: Slim Black line....

Hey Paruschuh Welcome to the world of Resolume! From what I can tell from your post, one thing that could be the cause is that you're using H264 as a codec. H264 is a great codec for putting things online, but terrible to VJ with. I can be very short about it: DON'T USE IT! We suggest recompressing ...

Re: Flash footages compiled for Flash Player 10

Hey Krybin

I'm not quite sure what you mean. Resolume Avenue is designed to work with .swf movie files. Applications built with Flash are a different beast entirely.

Maybe we are talking about two different things here?

Re: Layer speed in Resolume 3

Hey Doomss There is no speed control at the composition level, or global speed as you call it. One way to control the speed of clips with one control, is to switch the Application Midi mapping mode to deck, and then assign the same rotary knob to the speed control of all the clips. You can also choo...

Re: Erratic frame rates after attaching projector

I find that Avenue is a bit picky when you attach the second output when it's already running. First connecting the monitor, then starting Avenue solves all the issues though. Maybe that will work for you guys as well?

Hi Rhett

Could you send us the log files? Also, any ideas on something that might have changed in your setup?

Re: Windows 7 32bit or 64 bit

For future travelers:

Although Avenue works fine on 64 bit systems, it is not specifically compiled for 64 bit, so there is no need to switch if you're on a 32 bit system.

Re: ResolumeAvenue overheat the processor

Hey Peralta Resolume Avenue is designed to take full advantage of the graphics card of your computer. I couldn't find the exact model of the graphics card of your laptop, but it looks like it has a lower end, shared memory one in there ( http://www.notebookcheck.nl/NVIDIA-GeForce-Go-7200.2795.0.html...
