Re: Resolme 2.4 PC vs Resolume 3.1.1 Mac

Hi Rougeballon

Resolume Avenue runs fine on Mac OS Tiger, Leopard and Snow Leopard. Be sure to download the latest version for OSX (3.1.2) from the downloads section!

Let us know if you have any questions!

Re: resolume 3 et windows seven

Hi Régis I hope you don't mind if I reply in English. If I understand you correctly, you are trying to launch Avenue on Windows 7, and it crashes while opening. Resolume Avenue has been tested on Windows 7, and is working fine for most users. There can be any number of causes for your problem howeve...

Re: huge lag with large DXV files!

Another thing which just occurred to me is that this is the only model MacBookPro that shares its memory between the CPU and GPU. Although Apple claims it will always have 256MB dedicated for the GPU, there's a big chance that this is causing the slowdowns....

Re: huge lag with large DXV files!

Hey Jeff We can't seem to recreate your problem on our end. I'm playing your clip with 10+ effects through a 25 meter VGA cable and playback is identical on the laptop as on the projector. Since you mention the laptop screen is playing back normally, and the problem also occurs with Quicktime Player...

Re: NanoKey and NanoKontrol work together?

Hi Sineglutine Resolume will recognize different midi input signals and controllers. As long as your laptop has enough USB ports and can provide enough power, it will work. If you want to be absolutely sure, just take your rig to the store and try it out. Most music stores will gladly let you try st...

Re: Camera input Problems

Hey Vizzie Some other users have reported problems with Firewire inputs on OSX as well. For the majority of the people it's working fine though. I'm running a signal from a Panasonic DVX100 happily through FW400 as I write this. You haven't mentioned which compression method you have tried in the Se...

Re: Windows 7

Apparently Ligos (the company behind the Indeo codec) has fallen out of love with Microsoft for quite a while. They are not supporting Indeo on Windows 7. However Microsoft is still shipping the codec in some form with their OS. It looks like quite a bees nest, and Ligos is referring everyone to Mic...

Re: Masks, Stills, Grab, Freeze and scratch

Hi John Thanks a lot for your comments and suggestions. It's greatly appreciated to hear how you're actually using Avenue and what your thoughts on it are. Regarding the masking, this has been requested by other users as well. We figured that on a per clip level, the mask should follow the clip. To ...

Re: huge lag with large DXV files!

Hey Jeff Could you give a few more specifics on the clips you're using, primarily the resolution and which effects you're using? Also an approximation of the lag time could be helpful (are we talking frames or seconds?). Is the output lagging, or stuttering? If possible can you send us one of the cl...
