Hi.. I have a friend who has used the AMD Radeon HD 5870 eyefinity6 edition with Resolume 3 and it has worked nicely for him. It has 6 mini display ports. I dont think that is possible with the matrox cards. The Pixell VP-90 is a better option. It can output horizontally/vertically , duplicated/extended (whichever way you want).

The simplest way that comes to mind is that you can use a completely isolated layer where you keep only your audio file and keep your video files in layers below that . You keep the audio fader of that layer at 100%. Since the audio file's layer does not have any video clips, any manipulations done ...

Approach 3 is the most likely option to use. There are a lot of users using that approach to solve video stream inputs into resolume. There is no reason why it shouldn't work if you have purchased the right equipment (blackmagic intensity capture card) according to your computer specs.
