Re: Dmx layer rotation

shouldn't it be a value of 126/127 on startup though as you can rotate in both negative and positive space? I figured it was a dmx issue, maybe I can fix it by changing my fixture profile. also, what about the other issue i'm having with crash on fullscreen using the control screen as an output? it ...

Dmx layer rotation

Anyone else have an issue where all their layers will rotate by 0.71% (x, y and z rotation) when dmx connects to resolume? I'm on 4.1.3 Also noticed that whenever I run output on the same window as control while pixel mapping (slicing) the server will crash the second time I go output -> advanced. I...

Re: Museum Install

@LXConcepts: Unfortunately we have no lighting control software.... Its just a standalone server/PC and projectors. No lighting. a computer IS lighting control...with a loopback on the server you could easily put something like chamsys (chamsys.co.uk) on it to fire resolume via dmx over artnet. Cha...

Re: circle crop

you could make one in photoshop in about five seconds and key your content to it, or just make it without a background in the center.

if you know the resolution of your projection and basic mathematics you can even get the exact pixel count down pretty easily

Re: Museum Install

Thanks for the reply so quickly. That's great to know! Do you have it all automated by any chance? As in autostart up/autofull screen/auto trigger clip 'N' etc? Or is it manually started each time? Thanks you could automate it through a few more steps...basically you'd have to get windows to boot u...

Re: Museum Install

1) How hard will it be to edge blend using ultra short throw projectors? Or will it be the same as any other projectors? Im just thinking it might be hard as the light is already being distorted a lot anyway via the mirrors and angles, etc? it's a little harder at short distances, but still not tha...

Re: Preview Monitor Glitch

What about making the windows undockable in future releases? That way windows that aren't necessary can be closed and we could do a custom layout as well

Also I'd love to be able to put my preview on a second monitor

Re: Server build

My boss is pretty stuck on using go pros for this because he owns a couple already. I'm pretty sure it won't need to be one continuous image, just give the illusion. The content will be shit from a moving car, so we need to take that into consideration without having to do a considerable amount if t...

Server build

I'm currently working on a large video project that I'm likely going to use resolume arena for, although I need to build the servers. The project; 10 16x9 screens placed around a room all showing portions of the same recording. Essentially a large panoramic video, although it will be shot with gopro...
