Detaching Active Layers from Content Layers as an Option

Hi. I usually work using triger target to the active layer - the way it was on R2.4. So, is it possible to implement, as an option, the ability to move/exchange layer positions (up and down) without moving all layer inactive content along. I just like the way decks looked before R2.4, so I don´t wan...

Re: Pixel Aspects driving me crazy

I am sometimes making confusion between display aspects (4:3 and 16:9) and pixel aspects (1.2121,1.0, 0.9). Late FUL HD display devices have 16:9 image aspect and they are squared pixel. Assuming this, I can generate some wide content 16:9 aspect with a 960x540 1.0 pixel aspect resolution. I guess I...

Pixel Aspects driving me crazy

Hello, I finally finished migration from an old PC and Resolume 2.4 to a MacBook Pro and Avenue. ; ) Hey!!! I produced new sets of contents, all DXV square pixels for single, dual and triple (TH2G) projections. I am all set to go and guessed I´d never had this problem again: I have a simple performa...

Masking vs. Projection Luminosity

Hello. I am getting somewhat unwanted results while using masks. For a test, I printed a big logo and placed it on a wall. Created the logo mask (all black with no BG) and saved as PNG. Tested that as a layer mask and as well as a clip mask. I was able to mask the layer, position the mask and fit to...

Re: multi screen Avenue setup

Yes, but now I realize I have a new issue: I found a solution but I lost all possible control over matching projected images. In a 1600x600 composition, for instance, using two projectors with 800x600 res and some 1600x600 full clips in a single layer, all matching becomes physical. I mean.. project...

Re: multi screen Avenue setup

goto10, I downloaded software from the Matrox site which allows me to set second display resolution to 800x600, 1920x480 or 2400x600.

Re: multi screen Avenue setup

I think I have a theory and it might be a solution to me (please check prevoious three posts). Now it is just a matter of testing. I got a call from Matrox support (what actually surprised me) and at first they said that the analog version I got was not compatible for the Mac, or for 90% of the case...

Re: multi screen Avenue setup

Just a few more bit of info... What I want is to run a 2400x600 composition in Avenue. I want to use TH2go to send the same info to 3 different display devices. I want to setup composition and layers to distribute part of the images to each respective display device (projectors). Like 3x 800x600 dis...

Re: multi screen Avenue setup

Oh no!!! I am dead now! I am not quite sure I am following you! I bought a Mac (is not the latest release) with 8GB RAM and the Nvidea GForce GT 330M 512MB. I also bought the Matrox TH2go - I´ve thought I´ve learned here that I could have that to project to three different displays at once. I´ve rea...
