it has probably to do with the bitdepth your monitor is in. Try switching between 16 and 32, 24 bitdepths. And see when you get the white screen, some cards work only on certain bitdepths in resolume.
that's not normal behaviour i know.

do you have an example of this technique

if you right click the chaos button a settings window will appear..
click on the layers and channels you don't want to use and voila... single layer chaos..just fool around with the settings and you will find out...

we allways work on better playback...
so we will do our best

the current version does use directshow for live input, we used to use vfw in resolume 1.0, but we are still having problems with directshow so that's why not everything works as well as it should..
