I found out about this bug, i had the same thing as you. I wouldn't know how to prevent this from happening. I would say that you just set the dv cam to recording so that it won't go into standy.

you do need a vfw for resolume 1.0
but you don't need a vfw driver for resolume 1.1, it can handle wdm drivers as well.

Hi Jeff, i just tested your avi. I tested it together with a identical sort of file with the same length and codec and resolution. It seems that my files are way faster when beldning. My file is twice the size of your file. My data rate is much higher as well, 1803kbps against your 1131kbps. Maybe y...

i'm downloading the file right now. You will see that version beta 3 (or 4) will work better in higher resolutions. But using alphablending will bring down the fps a lot. On my machine 640x480 is running fine with all kinds of effects and using lumakeying and transparency. But when you start Blendin...

naive:
i haven't got a clue why the output goes black, do you still have this problem. Does this happen every time you use resolume and everytime you change the opacity?

jmode:
i will look intot the midi commands.
And i guess it wouldn't hurt to put the toggle play direction in for every layer ;-).

the .fff file is used for storing the array of images (paths) that is used in a deck. This is a bit of a hack. In the future it will be merged to one file.
So these fff files have nothing todo with the other .fff files that store the overal preferences of resolume.

suggestion 1: the operating system is the problem not the videocard! but what you can do is buy a cheap pci card so you have two videocards. The pci card can be used for the main-interface and the fast card would handle the output. Search the discussion and maybe Vjforums how you could set this up. ...
