It really depends on how you use your content in Resolume. If you're going to play with speed, then you might want to render your animations at higher fps such as 120, 240, 300, 480 on up to 999 in AE to get smooth slow motion effects when necessary. Just want to add... if you just talking of re-enc...

I want to try to fix this issue first, or atleast to understand why it happened.

Why? The Resolume team constantly improves the software so why don’t you try to see if the new version takes care of your problem rather than trying to figure out how to fix an older version.

Why don’t you update to 7.0.3 and see if you still have any issues?

Have you shared your crash report with the resolume team? Also, can you share your advanced output xml file?

You can share your composition output via NDI and record it on OBS (preferably on a different computer).

Or scale a 16:10 input in a 16:9 output. But either way you go you’ll probably need a scaler in line to crop/scale unless your PJs have that capability onboard.

16:10 is a computer resolution and Blackmagic only does SMPTE resolutions so it’s not possible to output 16:10 with a Decklink card.
