How to assign MIDI notes WITHOUT a keyboard?

I am using a sequencer to control Resolume via a MIDI yoke. For this to work, I want to assign MIDI notes to various channels and effects.

However, I don't actually have a MIDI keyboard.

How can I train Resolume on MIDI notes? Is there any way of inputting a note value directly?

How to restore default MIDI notes to channels?

I was fiddling around with MIDI assignments, when I accidentally cleared all the default MIDI note -> channel assignments.

How can I get them back?

Tokyo gig pictures

Here are a couple of me and my friend Mika, at some gigs in Tokyo: http://public.fotki.com/gpvillamil/vj_gigs/gpvj.html - just keep pressing next. I have to say, at the last 2 gigs Resolume has worked flawlessly. MIDI, DV cam input, etc all worked, stayed up all night, no crashes, no funny behaviour.

Re keeping camera working: Panasonic and Sony cams won't switch off if they are in their still picture mode (ie using SD Card or Memory Stick). Re keeping firewire cable attached: put the camera on a tripod, and attach the power and firewire cables to the tripod with gaffer tape. Finally, whenever f...

VirtualDubMod will read MPEG2 or VOB files directly. You can mark out clips within a VOB (DVD video) file, and process them in a single batch process.

disable all virtual drives... (DaemonTools, Isobuster etc.)
This happens on a system with no virtual drives.

However, it does have a flashcard reader which is often empty.

Sometimes Resolume wakes up cranky

It seems that sometimes Resolume gets up on the wrong side of the bed, so to speak, and the computer has to be rebooted for things to work right. I have noticed two intermittent problems: 1) Resolume starts, but nothing shows in the lists for files, effects or decks. Rebooting the computer and resta...
