What motherboard are you using? What is the card configuration in the PCIE slots? What kind of drives are you using? Is the BM card using a “shared” PCIE slot with the GPU? If you’re using multiple x16 slots it could be your GPU has been bumped down to x8.

attached a simple composition from v7
if you load the solids, layer 2 should be strobing from blue to alpha, but doesn't do anything.
if you turn the alpha up, you can see it start to strobe to black (which is expected)

Run across a few issues. 7.0.1 Importing a composition from 6 causes text block clips with a line width set to be imported with a line width of 10 and you can't change it. Deleted text block and making a new one works. Strobe Effect, strobing alpha on a layer or clip isn't working anymore. Works in 6.
